PanStar Group is advancing South Korea’s first pilot operation of a container ship via the Arctic shipping route, opening a new era in maritime logistics.
The Arctic shipping route is a new maritime transportation corridor connecting the Port of Busan with major European ports via the northern waters of Russia. Compared with conventional routes through the Suez Canal, it can shorten transit times by approximately 20 to 30 days, enabling faster and more efficient logistics services.
PanStar is developing an Arctic logistics network connecting the Port of Busan with Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Hamburg in Germany, and Gdańsk in Poland. Through this network, PanStar aims to enhance its customers’ logistics competitiveness and contribute to greater stability and efficiency across global supply chains.
